MM2H Requirements

Below listed are the generic MM2H requirements. The listed minimum requirement for MM2H is basic criteria for application. Please note that requirements changes overtime and do refer to our latest MM2H requirements update as well.

  1. Assets & Income Requirement
    • Aged 35 years and above:
      • Liquid assets minimum of RM1,500,000.00
      • Minimum monthly income RM40,000.00
  2. Documents Requirements
    1. Application Letter by the main applicant to include the following information:
      • Personal Family background
      • Reasons to join the mm2h program (to stay in Malaysia)
      • Details of main applicant’s financial status – provide the amount
        • Local bank
        • Foreign bank
        • Pension
        • Shares
        • Others
    2. Resume by the Main Applicant which includes the following information
      • Academic qualification
      • Working experience
      • Skills or expertise acquired
      • 4 copies of color passport size photos (each applicant)
    3. Copy of passport/travel documents (all pages) with certification on personal particulars page.(Note: Copy of the previous passport is required if main applicant/dependent(s) has renewed passport within the last 12 months)
    4. Certified copy of Marriage Certificate (if accompanied by spouse)
    5. Certified copy(s) of Birth Certificate/legal documents (if accompanied by children/adopted children/stepchildren)
    6. Certified copies of latest 3 months Bank Statements/other Related Financial Documents to indicate the financial capability to support stay in Malaysia
    7. Certified Copies of latest 3 months pay slip/ income statement( if employed)/or pension Slip and etc to indicate off-shore pension
    8. Letter of Good Conduct from your Government Agency- Police Report from Country of Residence ( for Main Applicants & Spouse)
  3. Forms Required (The following attached Forms must be completed and signed individually by the main applicant and spouse/ children (if any)
    1. One (1) copy of MM2H Application Form (for each applicant)
    2. One (1) original copy of IM. 12 Form – Social Visit Pass (for each applicant)
    3. Self Declaration on main applicant’s/dependents health conditions – Form RB1 (for each applicant)
    4. Financial Authorization letter to verify the financial documents with the relevant financial institutions

IMPORTANT NOTES:

All copies must be certified “TRUE COPIES` of the original documents by Embassy/High Commission/Solicitors/ Justice of Peace/ Notary Public Commissioner For Oats/Government Official.

Where original documents are not in ENGLISH, translation must be done by a qualified translator and CERTIFIED.

All documents enclosed with the present application become the property of the Malaysia My Second Home Centre.

After receiving CONDITIONAL APPROVAL LETTER from The Immigration Unit, MM2H Center.

  1. Applicant/Dependents come to Malaysia
  2. Open Fixed Deposit Account in any bank in Malaysia of the following amount
    • RM 1,000,000.00 for main applicant
    • RM 50,000.00 for each dependent of main applicant age 35 to 49
  3. Purchase Medical Insurance in any insurance company in Malaysia/ submit Medical Insurance that is applicable in Malaysia
  4. Obtain Medical Report from any private hospital or registered clinic in Malaysia ( Form RB 11 )
