MM2H New Rules 2022

There are a few changes in the requirements on the documentation for MM2H application from 2019 and onwards application. These are the additional MM2H new rules 2022 on top of the MM2H basic requirements.

PASSPORT PICTURE (MM2H New Rules 2019)

  • Applicant is required to submit passport picture with BLUE background.
  • Applicant is required to submit the copies of passport particular page and ALL Pages that contain entry/exit stamp
  • Only passport particular page is required to be validated (Certified True Copy)


LETTER OF GOOD CONDUCT (LOGC)

Applicant is required to submit COMPLETE documents upon submission at the MM2H counter.

  • This includes submission of Letter Of Good Conduct (LOGC) for applicant from Hong Kong and Singapore. (Note: The Ministry of Tourism and Culture will no longer issue supporting letter for applicant to obtain LOGC from Hong Kong and Singapore authorities)
  • Applicant is no longer allowed to submit LOGC issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia. Only LOGC from the ORIGIN or RESIDENCE country is acceptable
  • Only main applicant (Principal) is require to submit the LOGC. Effective date 26th February, 2019


OFF-SHORE INCOME (MM2H New Rules 2022)

  • If applicant is unable to meet the RM40,000.00 off-shore monthly income, he/she may submit income from spouse to support the application. But the applicant’s income should exceed the spouse with a ration of 7:3.
  • Applicant who declares the he/she is employed, is not permitted to use other sources of income such as rental agreements, investment benefits and other as sources of income. But applicant MUST submit the salary slip and bank statement as proof of an offshore income.
  • Applicant is require to provide both Salary Slip and 3 months of current Bank Statement as an evidence of salary credited by the employer. Effective date 4th March, 2019


CERTIFIED TRUE COPY REQUIREMENT

Commissioner Of Oats is not allowed to validate (Certified True Copy) for any documents for MM2H Application. ~ Effective date: 4th March, 2019
